About Klaas Mothapo Secondary

Founded in the heart of Ga-Mothapo, our school stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity. We are a public secondary school (Quintile 3 – no fees) in Paledi Ga-Thoka village, Polokwane. With 2107 learners and 54 dedicated teachers, we produce leaders.

2003

ISF World Cup in China — 1st team represented SA. Squad included Ramahlwe Mphahlele (now Sundowns captain) and Hlompho Kekana.

2003

Sasfa u16 national champs → then represented SA at ISF World Schools Championships in Brazil (Tlou Molekwane, Lehlohonolo Masalesa).

2015

Copa Coca-Cola u15 provincial winner — beat Hudson Ntsanwisi 4-0; competed in Durban nationals.

2107 learners, 54 staff, 39:1 ratio — growing STEM and soccer academy.
